How to register for SmartHQ™ Service?

Log In to your Customer Portal

Activate Your Subscription

If you are a bundle pack customer, enter the MacID to activate your subscription and allocate the license.

Assign Technicians

Provide the names, emails, and device types for your technicians.

Technician Verification

Technicians will receive a verification email for their newly created SmartHQ™ Service account. Instruct them to follow the instructions provided in Onboarding Email sent to them.

Download and Installation

Navigate to your devices app store and search for SmartHQ™ Service.

Bluetooth Module

  • To use the Bluetooth Module, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile/ tablet device.
  • To power the Bluetooth module, either connect it using the USB connector, or connect it to the appliance.
  • The Bluetooth Module has no battery and does not need to charge.

iPhone/iPad Pairing to Bluetooth Module

  • To pair iPhones/iPads to diagnostic tool (Bluetooth Module) navigate to Bluetooth settings.
  • The Bluetooth module broadcasts as GE Service - XXXX. XXXX represents the last four digits of the Mac ID of the Bluetooth Module. This signal is visible on the Bluetooth settings screen.
  • Select GE Service - XXXX
  • GE Service will show in My Devices as 'Connected'. This indicates the Bluetooth module has been paired and connected to the phone.
  • Android devices allow pairing with Bluetooth modules within the app.

Payload Sync Process

  • This process can take 1-2 hours and requires a Wifi or Cellular connection.
  • Once pairing is complete, an option is available to sync and download the latest appliance firmware payloads to your Bluetooth Module.

Activating Your Bundle Pack

Finding Your Coupon Code

  • Your device’s MAC ID is located on the bottom of the SmartHQ module. It is a unique identifier for your device.Look for the label on the bottom of the module.
  • The MAC ID will be clearly marked, as shown in the image below for guidance.

Redeeming a Coupon

  • Once logged into the Customer Portal, head to the "Your Purchases" section. This is where you can manage your subscriptions and licenses. Look for the Coupon Activation button, typically located alongside your subscription options.
  • In the coupon activation field enter the MAC ID from your device. Ensure it’s entered exactly as shown on the label for accurate processing.
  • After entering the MAC ID, click Redeem or Apply to activate your bundle pack. Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm, and your bundle benefits will be instantly applied to your account.
