How to Get Started

Account Setup

Before connecting your Zoneline, establish your management hierarchy:

  • Create an account using a valid email and a strong, unique password[cite: 308].
  • [cite_start]
  • Set up your Property, then define Buildings, Floors, and Unit Numbers to build your blueprint[cite: 113, 117].

  • Invite team members and assign roles (Owner, Admin, etc.)[cite: 298].

Network Requirements

Ensure your property's network is ready for connected appliances[cite: 247].

Required Specifications:

  • Frequency: 2.4 GHz networks only[cite: 255].

  • Signal: Minimum strength of -85 dB[cite: 256].

  • Security: WPA/WPA2 PSK only (Enterprise/Captive Portals not natively supported)[cite: 260, 261].

  • Firewall: Must not block HTTPS or MQTT communications[cite: 268].

Download Mobile App

The mobile app is required for the commissioning process[cite: 378].

  • Download "SmartHQ Management" from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store[cite: 405].

  • Ensure your mobile device is connected to the site Wi-Fi you intend to use for the appliances[cite: 114].
  • Log in using the account credentials created in Step 1.

Commission Appliances

Connect your Zoneline units to the cloud:

  • Tap the Appliance Icon (top right) in the mobile app[cite: 119].

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to scan/connect the unit.
